TriPeaks Solitaire is a single-player card game that combines elements of classic solitaire with strategic play. The objective is to clear all the cards from the three pyramid-shaped peaks, following specific rules.
Setup:
- Use a standard 52-card deck for TriPeaks Solitaire.
- Shuffle the deck and deal a pyramid tableau with three overlapping peaks, each containing one face-up card. Below these peaks, deal a row of ten face-down cards to create the tableau.
- Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile.
Objective:
- The goal is to remove all the cards from the three peaks, one card at a time, by selecting cards that are one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile (the pile of face-up cards).
Round Play:
- You can remove a card from the tableau if it's one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile. For example, if the top card of the waste pile is a 7, you can remove a 6 or an 8 from the tableau.
- If a face-down card is exposed, it becomes face-up and can be used in pairs like any other face-up card.
- You can move cards from the draw pile to the waste pile by clicking or drawing them, one at a time. The top card of the draw pile is face-up and can be used immediately.
- You can reshuffle the draw pile if there are no more available moves. Reshuffling will create a new draw pile and waste pile.
- The game is won when all cards from the three peaks have been successfully removed.
Losing:
- The game is lost if there are no more moves left to clear the three peaks, and the draw pile has been exhausted.
Tips:
- Pay attention to the available options and think carefully about which cards to remove and when.
- Try to uncover face-down cards to create more opportunities.
- Utilize the reshuffle option wisely when you're stuck.
- Plan your moves to maximize the number of cards you can clear in each turn.
TriPeaks Solitaire is a fun and strategic variation of solitaire that requires you to think ahead and make clever choices to clear the three peaks and achieve victory.

TriPeaks Solitaire sounds like a fun way to mix strategy with a classic game! I love how it challenges you to think ahead, kind of like planning for a sailing adventure or figuring out your SHTF plan. I appreciate that it encourages you to uncover cards and create opportunities—definitely a good mindset for anyone into self-sustainability, right?
Also, the reshuffle option is intriguing. It’s like taking a step back and reassessing your situation when things get tight. I could see myself getting into this during downtime or while waiting for something else to happen.
What do you all think about the balance between strategy and luck in games like this? Sometimes it feels like you can strategize all you want, but then you just get stuck with bad draws. Anyway, I'll definitely give it a try and see how it goes! 🌊
