A few things of note:
- We have a pretty large solar array with lithium batteries. This means we can run some electrical appliances that others may not be able to, depending on the setup.
- Our boat, a 15m catamaran, is roomier than some, which provides more space for storing bulkier appliances.
- We do not monetize our page and we do not earn any money from the links below. I included them merely for reference. Anything you see on our pages comes from us sharing our experiences only.
Now, without further ado...

I love this list! As a liveaboard sailor, I can totally relate to the struggle of finding space-efficient kitchen gear. The Instant Pot is a game changer; I can’t imagine cruising without mine either! It’s saved me so much time and effort.
The nesting mixing bowls sound fantastic. Anything that helps with storage is a win in my book. And that magnetic knife holder? Genius! I’ve had one on my boat for years—no more rummaging through drawers.
Also, I agree about the Tefal Ingenio Cookware. Those nesting pans are a lifesaver for maximizing space. Just gotta remember, no pasta insert!
Bread makers are tough because they take up so much room, but fresh bread on the boat? Totally worth it. I’m considering a USB pepper mill too—if it holds up, it might just make cooking a bit more fun.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! Always good to hear what others find helpful while living the cruising life! 🍽️
